Bringing Community In: How to Highlight Underrepresented Narratives in Your Exhibits

How can we bring new audiences to our museums and cultural centers? Mana, a media collective archiving the stories of Filipinos in Alaska, will share how we brought our community to a museum in Anchorage, a restaurant in Ketchikan, and an artist gallery in Juneau. Through examples of our past projects and group discussion, we’ll explore together how to effectively include underrepresented narratives in our exhibits and invite new audiences to engage with our spaces.
